On Friday, November 9th DuEwa facilitated an all day professional development workshop titled "Teaching Struggling Readers." Twenty teachers were in attendance in Jefferson City for a day of professional learning and collaboration. I last saw Dr. Ntozake Shange on the night of her reading event which I organized, in St. Louis, at the Missouri History Museum on April 25, 2017.
